I AM a dedicated higher education leader, scholar, and advocate committed to equity, belonging, and student success. With over two decades of experience in administration, honors education, and student affairs, I created the CLEAR Model—a transformative advising framework centered on communication equity, cultural responsiveness, and relational support.
Born in Port-au-Prince, Haiti, I bring a deeply personal and culturally grounded lens to my work. I am a proud graduate of Florida Atlantic University, where I earned both my Ph.D. in Educational Leadership and Research and my Bachelor’s degree. I also hold a Master’s degree from the University of Central Florida. As a proud member of Alpha Phi Alpha Fraternity, Incorporated, I uphold the fraternity’s values of scholarship, leadership, and service in every facet of my professional life.
Throughout my career, I have served in key leadership roles, including Acting Dean of Student Affairs and Director of Honors Programs, where I developed student-centered initiatives and secured significant funding to expand access and opportunity for underrepresented learners. My research and writing focus on immigrant student experiences, Black identity in higher education, and institutional transformation.
Through the CLEAR Model Trilogy—You Belong Here, We Hear You, and We Lead With Purpose—I offer a bold vision for reimagining academic advising as a space of advocacy, care, and purpose-driven leadership.
